Hope for the Village
My name is Joseph, and I am currently in Grade 7. When I was six years old, my parents began serving with In Better Hands and opened our home to children in need, forming what is now New Life Family. This gave me many more brothers and sisters.
I am naturally shy and quiet, and I sometimes find it difficult to make friends at school or in public. Because of this, my brothers and sisters are not just my family—they are also my best friends. I truly admire my parents for starting New Life Family, and I am so grateful to be part of it.
In Better Hands has supported my education and our family’s livelihood for many years. As the situation in our country remains difficult, I often see news reports of children suffering from hunger and displacement. Many young people face insecurity, poor hygiene, and the daily struggle to find even one meal. I am deeply thankful that, because of your support, my family and I are able to eat three meals a day and even enjoy extra snacks. Because of you, school fees and supplies are no longer a burden.
I am very happy and always strive to do my best in school. I also enjoy participating in Sunday school and church activities. In the future, I hope to be like my parents—I admire their kind and generous hearts.
Please pray for my family. I am so thankful for your love and support, and I hope that one day I will have the opportunity to meet the people who have shown us such kindness. God bless you!
